Btw: Ol, I missed you posting when you were here! Unfortunatley, I had to work most of the week, so I couldn't catch up with you again!
Shaken!! we would have come to pick you up! Dang, the salt air woulda killed those ole germs. ( sounded good anyway)
Are you headed to Pick town? I'm hoping it'll warm up by then. This is just stupid cold.
Well, if it's any consolation, on Easter Sunday in a fashionable restaurant in the wealthiest neighborhood in Atlanta, I giggled when I saw the young women wearing strapless floral sundresses with peacoats. It's still stupid cold here too. Wool pea coat cold.
Beach Jacket has a part-time job at a retail store in Buckhead, and she predicted that they'd be out of cardigans by the Friday before Easter. BINGO! She was correct. I guess that explains the peacoats instead of pastel cardigans.Btw: Ol, I missed you posting when you were here! Unfortunatley, I had to work most of the week, so I couldn't catch up with you again!
That's okay, you tried!! I know how busy everyone was.
So true...it's sometimes hard to remember our local friends are not on vacation like we are!!!
OL...my fav pic was you and Sam looking out at the water. It made me tear up.
Keep it coming...you know how we love this stuff! :clap_1:
I know, I really thought I had put mine away for good. Funny story...when we left for Sowal it was warm in Ohio. I was trying to minimize my packing remember? I think I seriously could have used some of my winter clothes but anyway, I left wearing flip flops. I packed more flip flops of various colors and a couple pair of slides. I forgot or just decided not to pack my tennis shoes. I don't know why I just did. So dumb, and I had a new pair too.The second day I was there I pulled something in my foot and gimped around on it the rest of the week. Tennis shoes would have felt a lot better than what I had. But here's the funny part. Friday it gets rather chilly and Saturday the day we leave is down right cold and we're driving up North toward snow! I put on socks in the car and throw my flips in. Whenever we needed to stop Sam and I would share shoes. I'd go first and then she would go or I would just wear my flips but when I did I froze to death so the sharing option was better. After about 11 hours I didn't give a hoot and wore my socks and flips. Now that was a fashion statement. Mr OL pretended not to know me.
