Wow, good news..looks like a bit of a shift is now taking place in these final days...maybe Charlie will also tighten the race again Marco?

😀

"Democrats got a boost of good news yesterday in a batch of new tracking polls that show previously written-off Senate candidates in Pennsylvania, Colorado and Wisconsin running significantly closer to their Republican opponents. New polls yesterday also confirmed close margins in critical battlegrounds like Washington and West Virginia, but a Democratic comeback in either Pennsylvania, Colorado or Wisconsin would all but end Republican hopes to gain a majority in the U.S. Senate...."

Sestek is ahead in only one poll and still behind by up to 8 points in every other one.

Nobody can predict the outcome. There are too many that are within the margin of error...

alpha, from the suggestion of your post, you consider democrats taking the lead ahead of republicans. If that is the case, why would you cheer on Charlie Crist (former republican and currently independent) over the Democratic nominee, Kendrick Meek? Charlie may be ruining it for the dems by stealing votes from Meek. If Charlie drops out, Meek will likely pick up most of his votes and beat Rubio. Right? Or, am I misunderstanding that race? Maybe Charlie has secretly announced that he will again change and become a Dem if he wins?

One thing is for sure, this thing is starting to get really really ugly. The amount of mud getting slung around is epic.

The chances of Crist dropping out at this point are about as good as the Earth randomly skirting over to the sun.

Good point, Koa.... This election is like war to me, and all Democrats should now move quickly to elect Charlie Crist over the anti-Crist, Rubio, who is now somehow ahead in the polls.

No. Not completely in love with Charlie, but all is fair in love, war and politics. We should all do whatever it takes to stop Rubio from taking us back to a NW Fla. Panhandle before there was air conditioning.

I just don't understand why Dems/Progressives would waste their time going to vote knowing they're going to lose. Even NBC has thrown in the towel.

Most of our big Florida races look to be settled except the governor's seat. That one is a total toss up.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2010 - Florida Governor - Scott vs. Sink

Crist is so far down, I don't see how he can recover. Rubio looks to win that one handily.

To counter your pathetic attempt to dissuade them.

Are you discouraging Republicans and Tea Baggers since they've got it locked?

The difference is repubs and tea party voters are fired up and making a statement. I can't discourage anyone nor would I want to. I'm merely asking if it's frustrating to stand in line to vote knowing your party is losing the House and the Senate.

1/3 of those voters who voted for Obama are now voting for GOP members.

Again you are talking out of your arse, you don't actually know any of this for fact. Granted you might be right, but right now it's just a lame attempt to discourage the other side.

Why don't we wait until November 3rd to see the results and determine if your numbers are even close?

Not to burst your bubble, but many people don't vote a single party ticket, but actually research and vote for people from 2 or more parties in any given election............because they want the best candidate to win, not just their "team."

Grandma Scooterbug voted for Obama and she has Republican National Convention Christmas tree ornaments.

I'll be voting for at least one Republican candidate and I'm a registered Democrat.

And no, it isn't frustrating to do your civic duty - even if your chosen candidate does not win or the party you tend to favor is losing seats (as is typical in off year elections).
