A year ago this week, we started really tuning in to SoWal.com for the latest Hurricane Dennis info. People were joining so fast - remember? I remember being so amazed at how helpful everyone was. If we had had any doubts about going down 2 weeks after the storm, y'all erased them quickly. And it turned out to be one of our best trips ever- the beach was beautiful.
So now it's a year later, and I'm still here, and the beach is still beautiful, and SoWal.com is a part of our routine. It's been fun!:clap_1:

You got that. I found SoWal because of the hurricane in July--we had our vacation only seven days after--but long after the hurricane, I'm still here and loving every minute. What we would do without SoWal?? I shudder to think of it. No banter, no bicker, no photo, no joke...too awful to contemplate!

We have owned a home in BMB for nearly thirty years, but on this day last year I fell in love with the people of Sowal. The kindness and caring of all the local people was overwhelming. Very special thanks to SJ for taking the time and effort to let us know what was going on with our family home. :wub:
One year later and I'm still here. That, in itself, is a testiment to the wonderful members of this board.

I have the same feeling. My wife and I were worried about our house after all the storm issues. SJ was kind enough to take pictures of our house and send them to us with a damage report. Thank you again!! :clap_1:
