Paddle For Peace Saturday June 27 | 9am Grayton Beach Florida Join us on Saturday morning June 27th @ 9am for the inaugural Paddle For Peace, hosted by local charity Gulf Therapy, Tribe Kelley Surf Post, & Adventure 30A! With so much going on in the world, it's important to tune out all of the noise and come together for simply nothing other than our love and appreciation for one another and all things. Paddle For Peace is a welcome to all community gathering with the focus on love & peace in our hearts and the world, and is to be celebrated in our very own Grayton Beach back yard of Western Lake and the Gulf of Mexico... Because after all, salt water heals! We will start by meeting on the beach in Grayton next to the dune lake, and depending on water conditions we plan to paddle out into the gulf and/or western lake to form a surf circle and celebrate life with one another! This is a BYOB (bring your own board, kayak, floaties, noodle, anything that floats!) gathering. Adventure 30A and other supporting local businesses will have very limited boards available but will not be available to reserve in advance, so if you have your own board or access to one, please bring it. Be mindful that Grayton has extremely limited parking, so if possible car pool, and keep in mind you can always drop your boards off at the Garfield St. beach access and park closer to the 30A intersection on Defuniak Street as it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach access. This is our home and we encourage everyone to hang out as long as you would like. Be sure to show some love for the local businesses, for we all work together in this amazing community to support and contribute to the cause and help make this a possibility. In case you get hungry and/or thirsty, Chiringo will be opening for lunch shortly after we get started and they have even given us drink tickets to pass out for attendees.
