she does need to be on here posting that recipe! maybe I'll email and ask her for it.

Layered Crab Dip
prep time: 15min

Ingredients & Directions:

1st Layer: Blend all & spread in dish - 12 oz. cream cheese, 1T Worcestershire Sauce, 2T Sour Cream, 1T lemon juice, 1 shallot grated, Dash of Garlic Salt

2nd Layer: Mix together & spread over 1st layer - 3/4 small bottle of cocktail sauce, horseradish & cracked black pepper to taste

3rd Layer: Spread over 2nd layer - At least 6 oz. of Drained Lump white crabmeat

Chill & Garnish. Serve with crackers.

This can be made ahead of time. Wait until right before you serve to add the chilled crabmeat.

Here's a variation on the tried & true Rotel dip.

2 8 oz packages of cream cheese (not low-fat!!)
1 can Rotel tomatoes & chilies
1 pound sauage, browned (use the hot if you really like spicy stuff)

Melt the cream cheese, add Rotel and sausage. Serve with some sort of scoop chip (Fritos, Doritos, etc). You want to get maximum dip to chip ratio.:D

Baked Parmesan and Garlic Dip

Ingredients
2 medium sweet onions, finely chopped (won't hurt to add in one more onion!)
1 cup mayonnaise (do not use salad dressing, use Hellman's mayo for this)
1(8ounce )package cream cheese, softened
2 cups grated parmesan cheese
1-2 teaspoon fresh minced garlic (or to taste)
black pepper, to taste (optional)

Directions
1 Set oven to 350 degrees.
2 Lightly spray a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
3 In a bowl combine the mayo, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and garlic together until well combined and smooth.
4 Add in chopped onions and mix to combine, season with black pepper (if using).
5 transfer to the baking dish.
6 Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.

Serve with Ritz crackers or Fritos scoops


This receipe looks great and I just might be able to make it :clap:. I shouldn't be looking at this stuff on an empty stomach.

you forgot to add: secretly swipe dip from your hostess, put the entire bowl in your big ass purse and haul it home so you can eat it all yourself. this is so good. my bil makes it every time we get together and you can bet its always a hit.

and MERMY! that menu is so beautiful. what a feast you shall have as you celebrate your dad. I hope you take some pix of your Dad on his happy day. and of course your report due to the board.
