Is this not a crock of s*** or what?

ESPN host Tony Kornheiser suspended after attacking Hannah Storm's attire | EW.com

Man tells the truth and gets suspended. No wonder things are so screwed up in this country, if you have the stones to tell the truth you get exiled into PC Hades.:bang::bang:

It's called professionalism and restraint. More of these seemingly rare traits should be exercised. There is a difference between having the stones to tell the truth and going out of your way to insult someone publicly for no reason.

He just told the truth. His comments really were not that bad, I've heard worse from Mr. Blackwell....and about Sara Palin. Of course it is politically correct to attack her and her children, etc. so that doesn't count.

Kornheiser is paid to speak his opinion. He did and got whacked for it.

I have to admit it must have been embarrassing for him to be seen in the same picture with her dressed like that, especially on national television.

He is paid to speak his opinion about SPORTS, not about his fellow employees' attire on a National stage.....

No PC about this....in fact, I wish ESPN would put the two of them in a cage match.....She would woop his scrawny arse.....

forget her attire, what about the goofy retro set they're standing in. it looks like the guts of a pinball machine. if anyone looks out of place, it's him.

I totally agree. This has nothing to do with being PC. It was unprofessional. Think about it: If you were having lunch with clients, would you disapprove of a co-worker's attire in front of the clients, or behind closed doors? I was taught you don't air your dirty laundry (professional, business or personal) in front of others if you can help it. It's bad business.

To me, being PC is trying to tell people what they can label something or call it, such, just as an example, using the word "retarded" to describe someones mental function level.

I also think this woman is on a national TV show. She most likely has a stylist. He should have complained to his bosses off the air, instead of critiquing her in front of their clients( the viewers).

Not to mention the fact that it's just bad manners to discuss a woman's age in that tone on national TV. Like we don't put enough emphasis on how young everyone is supposed to be. (If you look old, no one will hire you for TV. So they dress as young as they can)Women can't win and guys like him don't have the same pressure over how they look.

Personally, I stopped worrying over stuff like that. I dress how I feel everyday. If my employer is unhappy and tells me, I would change. If my co-worker made fun of me on national TV, I'd use those red boots to kick him in the :yikes:

As someone who has no biases and is not at all familiar with either of these two personalities nor this show, I'd have to say she is the one who stands out like a sore thumb in this picture. He shouldn't criticize coworkers on the air though, because he's criticizing his company's product and they're in business to attract viewers. Plus the fact that he has to keep working with her.

Seeing as I don't watch the show, I don't know what he's had to put up with in the past. Also for all I know, he's equally goofy. Maybe he has complained to management in the past, but to no avail. I guess I could see myself ripping on her if I couldn't take it anymore and was ready to find a new job and move on and I had the talent and marketability to do so. I guess the same applies to her as well.

Let me say this as succinctly as I can. What he did, while on the air, was wrong!

What he did was wrong.

He realizes it, has apologized on air and in person and is not going to discuss it in interviews.

He is being punished for doing something wrong and is accepting the consequences of his actions (rare IMO).
