It was one of those random chance meetings that happens so often in my life. The big guy was wearing a suit of red and had a long white beard with rosy cheeks. The little guy with him was wearing a green suit with funny shoes, and the dog had horns and a bright red nose. Weird.

Yes, I did meet a STL SoWaller, but I don't know if they are posters. His daughter goes to school in Asheville, and they own a place near Sunrise Beach.

Nope SJ, wasn't me. I was in Finely Lake NY over Thanksgiving with 2 feet of snow!!!! But I did look for SoWal stickers as I was driving through Indiana and Ohio -- in search of Mermaid and OhioBeachBum :lol:

Heh, heh, if you were on the roads today you definitely would have seen me! I had to drive nearly to St. Louis today to drop off my son at USI in Evansville. I've spent eight hours driving today and my bottom is flattened out. I need a good long walk tonight to uncrink my body. I don't know how truckers do it! :idontno:

Speaking of hot chicks, Fyl, my high school junior, came with us for the ride. We were carrying things up to Alex's room and Fyl, who had never seen it before, looked around. And froze. Alex's roomate was in bed with his girlfriend. 😱 😱 The look on Fyl's face was priceless. Although I have this sneaking suspicion it wasn't as much that there were two bodies in that bed but the fact that it was 1:00 in the afternoon that did it for her. 😱 😱

Isn't that the truth?! My mom always tells this story--We were living in Germany the first time they were going to take me to see him. My mom was all excited, because over there "Santa" is more like Father Christmas in a gorgeous, elaborate costume. I guess she was envisioning a great photo op. Well, as I got close to him, I got scared and said I didn't to go talk to him. And my mom said, "Well, don't you want to tell him what you want him to bring you for Christmas?" And I said, "No! I want you and Daddy to bring my presents!" Fair enough. She said that was the last I ever had anything to do with him--never even wanted to believe in him!
