So, I hear my sister and brother-in-law are stranded at the beach?

Anyone have any information? No answer on the Pod's phones...

I'm not sure what they told you, but they are really just fine. They did have a flat tire on the way down, but that was quickly changed and the Odyssey is fine. They were talking about maybe staying an extra week or three. I told them that they should make up a story about their car catching on fire or something, leaving them stranded without kids, while at the miserable beach in SoWal. Just curious as to what she really told you... :idontno::roll::lol:

True.dat.

They really are stranded on the playa. I wish I were. I almost played hooky on the playa today to fake an excuse. But they really have an excuse, according to the birthday girl.;-)

I'm still waiting. Just had a message from Mr. Pod, but will have to call on my way home from work. Last I heard was transmission problems 100 miles in on the trip home...

:floor: I don't like it. I LOVE it! They did good. Did it sound believable?

Sounds convincing. Personally, it makes me sick to my stomach. :funn:

Transmission is shot, getting it fixed. Grandmas have been called into action.

They looked even more miserable on Sunday night vs Saturday night. I'll have to report back on all of the misery they experience tonight. It really sucks to be stuck at the beach, without four screaming kids.

Much like the phrase used in showbiz, "break a leg," people will soon be saying to beach goers, "I hope your transmission goes out on you!":floor:

Peas are really bummed out. Hate their rental car. Really dislike staying in WC. Grossed out at the view during lunch at the Beach Club today. :idontno:

On the plus side, pea did laundry and took out my trash and mr. pea picked up Molly's poo poo.

"break a leg" doesn't go over too well in the Pea household, especially since Pea #4 broke his at age 2!

Yeah, but he didn't get a mini vacation while his leg was being replaced by a brand new one with a brand new warranty guaranteeing that he could get another brand new one if the replacement broke, did he?

Actually, he did go to the beach in a cast from the waist down. Die hard, those Peas.

Possibly so, but when the trip is planned and the lodging is paid for, not broken bones will stand in the way!

If you have to be in a cast, why not be at the beach?! (forgetting about the sand getting in between the cast and your skin, of course)
