I have never posted a negative restaurant review. Always a private message because our experience was always a personal experience. I will very often post positive public restaurant messages - here and back home (Louisville). (Pickles found me and credited our account and sent a gift certificate. I appreciate the credit; the gift certificate was unnecessary.)
My family enjoyed Pickles food every visit. Seaside had a 8:00 pm curfew but we let the 15-year-old granddaughter go to town center on her own until 8:00 pm - we stay at Seaside (already booked again since we returned). Our son-in-law preordered her cheeseburgers, etc. & she had fun walking down & picking up her order. Breakfast is always a favorite-often our last meal before we hit the road.
Good job to Pickles and other Seaside favorite, Modica. We buy sandwiches every day to take the beach. (Of course, a few Great Southern & Bud & Alley stops. GS hostess' parents live in our neighborhood. She chose to stay near the beach instead of Louisville. Imagine that!)
