Pinterest has made redecorating my kitchen so much easier! When I search around for knobs...I just pin the ones I like. Then I can see them all at once. Countertops...just pin ideas. Faucets...the same. Such a great venue for this sort of thing! VERY addictive! I have to stop and think before I repin something...do I really need access to this product or idea?? I can see myself junking up my boards with stuff.......

Finally getting around to adding pins - what boards / pins should we add?

Will you follow? http://pinterest.com/sowalbeaches

Will we be allowed to repin them? Legally, you are supposed to ask the photographer for permission before pinning. It's in the rules when you sign on and every now and then, they make people acknowledge them again.

BTW- pictures of the rare dune lakes and outflows. Lots of people like to pin rare and exotic places or places they find unique and beautiful they want to go to one day. Expect to gain a lot of followers if you have good pins. Then, their friends pin them and so on and so on. In one week, somehow, I gained an additional 150 followers!

Of course, do people really follow the rules? I'm not sure if there is a way to state, or a box to check, to say it is OK but re-pinning is the point for us - spreading the word about SoWal beaches!

The reason I asked is perhaps you are unaware that Pinterest can SELL your work. So, I am careful not to pin photographers work (from a blog or privately owned page, not a magazine) because on the flip side, you have to have permission to do so. Pinterest is not sure if they want to be a mammal or lay an egg.

I like the ones you have so far, local entertainment and dining would be good. I have already had several people repin the ones I posted from your boards. On the dining board, an outside shot with name of restaurant and then some photos of food would really spark interest. People love to look at food on Pinterest. Also maybe a board for different areas such as Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Grayton, Alys Beach.
