Pool Attendant Needed - $16/hour

Job Summary
The pool attendant is responsible to oversee the Cypress Breeze Plantation pool facility. Attendants advise guests of pool rules; provide information on the neighborhood & community; monitor pool activity; maintain the deck in a neat & orderly fashion; and perform light maintenance around the pool facility.
Full-time and part-time attendant position available.

Schedule
May 16th – September 5th, 2022
Tuesday through Friday 1pm – 7pm; Saturday through Monday 11am -7pm *rain or shine*

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversees pool area and ensures guests are aware of pertinent pool rules
• Advises guests when rules are not being followed
• Helps maintain security and an enjoyable experience by confirming with guests, as needed, residence and whether permanent resident or renter
• Assists with set up and placement of furniture and umbrellas at beginning and end of the day. Straightens out seating areas and tables when guests leave during the day.
• Escalates significant safety; non-compliance; or pool operation problems in a timely manner to the CAM.
• Maintains issue log to share with the Community Association Manager (“CAM”) and BOD for possible compliance actions.
• Performs light cleaning and maintenance activities – discards trash and items left by guests; ensures tabletops are clean; replaces light bulbs; and other minor cleaning/maintenance activities as needed.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Hospitality industry experience and familiarity with 30a area a plus
• Lifeguard or lifesaving certification not a component of job

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
• Standing and working for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions
• Walk and climb stairs
• Capable of moving chairs, umbrellas and other pool related items weighing less than 25 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
