We hope everyone is staying safe and dry after Tropical Storm Bertha! The team at Emerald Beach Rentals is already out assessing the area and checking on properties to ensure everything weathered the storm well.

Just a quick reminder for anyone heading to the sand today: local officials are currently flying double red flags due to the storm's lingering impacts, so please stay out of the water! If you have any questions about your property or need an update on the local real estate market, drop a comment or send a message. Stay safe, everyone!!

Thanks Smiling Roger!

Reference to @Smiling JOe who first checked on properties for folks on here circa 2004 and 2005 along with @Kurt and others. Whoah those were some storms! Hurricane Dennis etc.

If you are implying that he is now posting to Facebook/Insta dozens of times per day like he used to do on this forum, nope, he has given that habit up.

Forecasters with NOAA’s National Weather Service are calling for a below-normal Atlantic hurricane season in 2026, with 8 to 14 named storms, 3 to 6 hurricanes and 1 to 3 major hurricanes between June 1 and Nov. 30.
