Preschool teacher

The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School has an immediate need for an assistant teacher serving children ages 2-3 years old. Hours are 7:30am to 3:00pm, Monday – Friday. This is an entry-level hourly position. Individuals must have an understanding of childhood development, a patience and respect for children, a desire to encourage children to be independent and an ability to model appropriate behavior. Teachers must maintain an environment rich with Montessori philosophy that is both safe and engaging for children.

Education background required. Montessori experience preferred.
