Wanted question about subdivisions for vacation area

Hi there, does anyone know of a list/ or where to find out/ or know of each of the SoWal subdivisions that allow short term rentals/ and the ones that don't? Thanks so much (have family looking)

That's something determined by the Covenants and Restrictions in each community. It's not really a compiled list. I believe listing non-rental neighborhoods would be easier. Some have full restrictions and some simply restrict short term rentals. Honestly, if it doesn't allow rentals you just won't find a rental listing for it.

The only fully restricted community I know of is Sand Cliffs over by Kaiya.

Do they want to buy in a neighborhood with no vacation rentals? If so the best bet is north of 98 like Watersound Origins or Point Washington, Santa Rosa Beach.

Lake Place, slightly east of Grayton, doesn't allow STR, but it's very expensive.

Good suggestion - there are a few smallish subdivisions along 30A that may not forbid rentals but will have very few, if any.

Sorry to be confusing in my post, I should have just said does anyone know of the SoWal subdivisions that do allow short term rentals, 30A West, Point Washington, SRB, Grayton, Topsail areas they are looking into
