Silly as it may sound, March of the Penguins brought tears to my eyes. To see how other beings live...the struggles they overcome...well, it puts everything in perfect perspective.

I have been completely immersed in Bleak House: the BBC's version of Dickens' book. It's such a moody, atmospheric production: conniving lawyers, ancient feuds, the usual kids living in London squalor, unrequited love, forbidden love, etc etc etc.
Rather, um, bleak.
So every now and then I might choke up a bit.
