We finally came in under 100 degrees on Thursday and we actually got some rain this morning-I thought I was still dreaming when I heard it! I hope my other Texas friends-and other drought ridden friends-got or get some of this lovely rain, too!

Still sort of drizzling here. I was just like you...got up around 4:30 and couldn't believe what I smelt (for Rita) and heard!! It's been a light rain..but it's lasted all morning. My little plants that are still alive are happy today!
It's GLORIOUS!!

So glad to hear this! My SIL was getting a little rain in Houston too! woohoo! DD, isn't it funny how the plants seem to know the difference between a sprinkler and rain? They love the rain and seem to thrive so much better when they get the real stuff. I think plants are the superior species on this planet.
