I went back to get it, opened the door to the fridge and .........found a whole bunch of socks that don't match and some of scooties silverware. I think we have a tear in the space time continuum:confused:

I ran the disposal a lot last night - that must have done it!

Me cleaning the house always upsets the natural order of the universe!

I cleaned last night, too......omg!!!!!! Somewhere, high up in the Andes, a lone yak herder has stumbled upon a pile of mismatched socks, silverware, a remote control and a jar of mayo:shock:

I still have the remote for my DVD player. "Last of the Mohicans" is still a very, very sexy movie...Nothing better than half-naked men in the Smokey Mountains.

Why was Jesse Jackson, who recently stated that he wanted to cut off Barack Obama's OMBs, crying at Obama's victory speech?

Will Al Sharpton be visible soon, now that the election is over?
perhaps b/c he will be out of a job?? :idontno:

Get it out of the lounge, folks. No politicking here!

These were random thought, though political, not wishing for a reply. They are not too serious and therefore shouldn't be in the political thread... On second thought, maybe the political thread should be in the Lounge, because half of those threads are not too serious anyway. Here is another thought, but it isn't too random, because it is linked to the above -- "Life is much too serious, to take life seriously." -- Tom Robbins

The Sun never gives up. Once again, it shines brightly on the water. Not a cloud in the sky. Tonight will likely be much colder than last night. Bring your sleeping bag and warm hat to Mtn Film!

Looking at the pizza thread shills makes me think that a person should have to have 15 posts before they are allowed to post for the first time.

Western Lake was gorgeous this morning at sunrise. The fog was sitting close to the mirror-like water, and the shine was stunningly bright.

reading all of these threads about prepared thanksgiving dinners makes me wonder what happened to having a traditional thanksgiving and cooking your own meals? i thought that was the true beauty of thanksgiving, everyone in the kitchen cooking or in the way and the turkey bowl. i would die if i went home and there wasn't a turkey or a sweet potato casserole in the oven, and no dirty dishes to clean. everyone is just so busy these days.

Don't despair aggieb. I think there's still plenty of us that do the whole shebang. Now, if I can just get my *&%$*%& oven fixed before Thanksgiving!:bang:

I think most of the info about takeout T-giving is for people vacationing here over Thanksgiving break. Not all rentals are equipped to cook a full T-giving dinner.
