Big D has always had back problems due to playing so much basketball (daughter, too). He hurt his back this week. When he was getting out of bed this AM, he tried to use his leg muscles to compensate for his back. But his hamstrings started cramping up. I tried for about 90 minutes to help him get out of bed, but I wasn't strong enough. So I called 911. One paramedic got on one side of the bed, and the other paramedic and I got in bed on the other side of him. It took us 30 minutes to get him up. After it was all over, we all laughed about the fact that it was the first time they'd ever gotten in bed with a patient.

BTW he's better now. Muscle relaxers, hydrocodone, and Motrin IB have helped.

Wow...the boy is flying home for a few days. I jsut checked Delta.com for gate and time. It says the plane from ATL will arrive at DFW, 20 minutes early!!!! WTF?

DD, Skunky and Punzy...the boy's plane is right over Shreveport! I love the little map Delta has.

Well, hailing from the busiest airport in the world, they land 'em early, but here the gate isn't available until 30 min. after you land. And, if you're not Delta they might dump you off on the tarmac and put you on a bus to get to the terminal.

Drag them to your desk top and then upload to "photobucket" or such. I'm sure there is an easier way! I do everything the long complicated way 'cause I don't know any better. ....<< this one's for our "groovy" Lynnie!

You are so funny. Why are you tired of the clapping smilie? Kurt, I guess you need to develop some Kitty-approved smilies.

Speaking of tired, I am so tired. We washed about 600 window panes while the painters washed the ones on the outside today. We still aren't finished. ARGH! Getting ready for wedding festivities and a reception at home is a lot of work but worth it.
