I'll admit that RHWOOC is a guilty pleasure, but the NY version totally turned me off after one episode. Despite the overt materialism of the Orange County version they somehow made the women likeable. I just couldn't do it with the NY women. They just don't have that X factor that makes me want to like them.

One season...two tops...

As Horrid as the San Diego misfits! You can see what Paris Hilton is going to look like and be like in 20 years or so. The producers go out of their way to find some of the most dysfunctional, image obsessed, rich divas in NYC...while at the same time looking for certain dynamics that will make the characters "clash."

But, of course, you can see by this diatribe of mine that I am an avid watcher and huge fan...

I loved the OC! I wanted to watch the new one, but the trailer for the first show had one of the housewives talking it up and I could get over her messed up grill. She was talking about how she could never leave the city and yadda yadda--all the while I was just staring at her teeth!

Either it is a teeth thing or I guess I am really shallow.

The OC girls got me thru some tough post-parton times. They were at least funny. The be-othches are not even interesting. Just repulsive!
