In partnership with the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, the Committee for Justice, Equality and Fairness in Walton County will present the third of a series of online community conversations surrounding social and civic issues in Walton County. The August 12th conversation with Superintendent A. Russell Hughes will begin at 6:00 pm and will focus on the reopening of Walton County schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees will need to download the Zoom app on their phone or computer in order to join the conversation. Registered participants will be emailed Zoom login information in advance of the conversation. The format of the conversation with Superintendent Hughes will be a panel discussion that includes community facilitators J. Renee Lewis and Sabu Williams, along with Mike Bowden, Chair of Committee for Justice, Equality and Fairness. These community conversations are hosted online by the Cultural Arts Alliance via the Zoom platform and include a discussion among the panelists and featured guests followed by a question and answer session between attendees and the panel.
