As a nation we can and should demand a single payer system. The irony here is it was the Republicans who were fear mongering about death panels if  Obamacare became law and now it's a Republican governor who created one.

Do not think for a second that this is partisan. These greedy pricks, all of them, have big insurance and pharmaceutical companies on their payroll. The only solution is socialization and if you can afford an additional policy then so be it. It works in Europe and Canada BUT they do not have the entitlement suckers  that we have. Our losers want the icing,  the cake and they bakery because....I wuz wronged and I'm po...gimme sumpin.

Yes we all know this is the biggest problem today (besides gay marriage destroying Christianity as we know it) poor people spending their gument checks on lobbyist to influence Congress. The poor aren't poor because they refuse to work. The majority of able bodied poor people work. Poverty wages cost U.S. taxpayers about $153 billion each year, according to a recent [URL="http://laborcenter.berkeley.edu/the-high-public-cost-of-low-wages/"]report[/URL] from the University of California, Berkeley. That's because, when families depend on low-wage jobs to survive, they're forced to rely on government programs like Medicaid and food stamps to make ends meet. Poverty is the enemy, not those living in it.

Not true. The problems of America are all due to the Republicans and Fox News. Everyone knows that the left side of the aisle is only trying to make it a better world..to lift their brothers up from oppression with shovel ready jobs. To provide every citizen with quality and affordable healthcare. Personal accountability isn't a factor, you shouldn't be expected to pull your weight because the game has been rigged for you to fail. Here is a helping hand, it is attached to a pocket of gold that will never empty. Morals, Gawd, Guns, well we will leave guns out of this conversation....all perversions of the wealthy and elitist pigs.  Republicans relish in your failure, the poor are a necessary evil to make them feel better about distributing their carpetbagging nontaxed cash from their Bentleys. Do not believe for a second that they earned that house, that car, that lifestyle. It was given to them by their privileged parents, generations of elitist swine who have fleets of attorneys and accountants who toil 7 days a week to find loopholes in the system to protect their wealth and insure that their ungrateful, misguided and immoral offspring can enjoy the same luxuries of life.  Protect the gene pool they say, taxes are for the common man. It is unfortunate that unfortunate are in the position they are in, get a job they say. So bring me your  tired your poor. Your huddled masses who yearn to breathe free. There will indeed be a chicken in every pot, so eat up because there is a bridge to build....unless it is easier to refile unemployment and collect food stamps.

I have to go now..kick a poor child on the way to the bank. I might even take my 68 and burn copious amounts of CO2....while listening to Hannity spewing the truth and beautiful facts.

After taking office, Gov. Brownback "reformed" the state's Medicaid system by enrolling low-income and disabled patients in a [B]for-profit system [/B]called KanCare. Levi Ross had his KanCare claim rejected and his doctors said that there was little hope of saving his life until St. Jude Children’s Hospital offered to perform the surgery in Memphis. By the time Ross finally had surgery, his tumor had tripled in size. His doctors said that he had only one week to live.
