I posted the original to the wrong forum. I am in need of a resume writer and would like to give the business to a local. I could also barter for services. Thank you.

There are SO many templates out there on the internet to follow. Just google "resume template" or "sample resume" and you'll see all kinds. I am not for the new video resumes or resumes with colored pages and graphics. Keep it simple and concise. And by alllll means spell check and have someone read over it! Also, don't forget the importance of a cover letter that is tailored specifically to each particular position.
GOOD LUCK!!!

I took Business Communications last term in college. There are actually 3 parts to a resume, the cover letter, the resume, and the follow up letter. There are many templates on Microsoft Word, just be sure you know whether functional or chronological will be more of an advantage to you... To determine that, ask yourself, Do you have more experience in the field, or more education? Good luck!
