Responsibilities Include:
- Training, supervision, and development of all retail sales associates
- Ensuring customer service standards are being met daily
- Inventory management, cost control and budget analysis to include stock re-balancing procedures
- Perform market analysis, competitive shop and analyze sales trends to keep abreast of current fashion trends.
- Identifying emerging trends and develops strategies outlining strong performers, new opportunities, and obsolete inventory.
- Seek out new product lines and suggest new business ideas
- Create and implement marketing plans.
- Collaborate with executive management to recommend inventory adjustments and sale opportunities
- Creating floor layouts and visual merchandising plans, to include creating seasonal color story selection and product placement
- Create and execute buying plans as well as open-to-buy budget
- Oversight of marketing and branding plan to include social media content calendar management and implementation
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school
- Four years of retail management experience
- Knowledge of latest trends in coastal, luxury brands (local market knowledge is a plus)
- Buying or Retail Merchandising role in a luxury retailer
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Some travel required
