Clay Garden & Gifts is looking for a [B]Retail[/B] [B]Store Manager[/B]! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, driven individual to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years management experience in a retail environment. Reliability and dependability are key traits, as well as, a strong work ethic and a desire to improve and succeed. We are lookng for excellent leadership skills and a sense of ownership and pride in our store's performance and its impact on the company's success. [B]Store Manager[/B]'s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, such functions as: scheduling, training, inventory control, achieving sales targets and maintaining a positive team atmosphere at all times. Overview of daily/weekly tasks required: [LIST] [*]Oversee day-to-day operations and store staff. [*]Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions. [*]Develop and maintain a schedule for employees. [*]Seek ways to better promote the store, product lines and services within the store, including social media interaction. [*]Maintain proper inventory levels, restock when needed, implement reorders and assist the owners in receiving and pricing inventory. [*]Implement cross-training of employees to maintain productivity and efficiency at all times. [*]Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times. [*]Train new employees as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service. [*]Suggest new operational strategies to improve the store's performance and productivity.
