It was bound to happen sooner then later [URL]http://30ascene.com/golf-cart-destroyed-grayton-beach-hit-run/[/URL] [COLOR=#333333][FONT=Raleway][B]Grayton Beach[/B] – A hit-and-run accident involving a golf cart and bicyclist in Grayton Beach on Wednesday Morning left a golf cart destroyed and the driver in shock.[/FONT][/COLOR] [COLOR=#333333][FONT=Raleway]According to Grayton Beach’s self appointed Police Chief, Tim O’Leary, officers responded to the accident at about 7:30 a.m. on the corner of Defuniak Street and Scenic Hwy 30A. Officers reported that the LSV (Low Speed Vehicle or golf cart as most of us know them) was totaled after being repeatedly struck by a bicycle. The driver of the golf cart sustained minor injuries and the bicyclist fled the scene on foot.[/FONT][/COLOR] [COLOR=#333333][FONT=Raleway]O’Leary said the golf cart owner received treatment at the scene, was arrested for suspicion of D.W.I. and seemed a bit embarrassed by the entire situation. The bicyclist, described by another non-singing witness as a 5-foot-9-inch, 190-pound white male with extremely tight biker’s shorts, a yellow bike helmet and cheap flip flops, was reportedly driving his bike on the road in front of the golf cart. The driver of the golf cart allegedly began throwing beer bottles and yelling profanities at the cyclist.[/FONT][/COLOR]
