Why is it that my router is working fine until I try to use Limewire? Sometimes it will say it's unavailable and then start to work while I'm on the site, but often the router will become unavailable as soon as I try to use Limewire.
Is it Big Brother?

limewire may be looking for specific ports on the router to be open. check in LW's help area.

limewire may be looking for specific ports on the router to be open. check in LW's help area.I think that's it, though I have only a conceptual grasp of what that means, no concrete idea of what's involved. I've printed out two different sets of instructions on how to manually open new ports, and now I know God is punishing me for trying to use Limewire.
