J. Kelly Hall, who was the son of DeFuniak Springs resident Raymond Hall, passed away recently of a sudden heart attack at the age of 51. He was a verry successful womens coach at La-Lafayette and Cinncinati and had assistant jobs at Alabama, Auburn and Troy among other stops. He was a graduate of Troy State in 1982.

Very saddened to hear this. I didn't know Kelley personally as he was a bit older than me but I went to Freeport High School with his brothers David and Joe. Many prayers for all of his family - this hits kind of close to home.
