say a little prayer or send postive thoughts please

my stepdad is having a surgical procedure to drain a colon abcess this morning at 8:30; he was hospitalized on Monday and if all goes as planned he should get out by Friday, he's only 54 years old and it seems this was caused by untreated diverticulitis, he was in great pain in January in the lower abdomen and saw 3 dr's that all thought the pain was from taking advil daily for over a year post back surgery-we think they missed the diverticulitis at that time but they're not admitting to that. Regardless, please say a prayer or send positive thoughts that his procedure and recovery go well, I'd sure appreciate it!
