SEA TURTLE RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT Join us Thursday, May 29 at 11:00 AM at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park as we release four rehabilitated sea turtles back into their ocean home! These incredible turtles have each overcome their own challenges with the help of our CARE Center team: Ridoc – juvenile green turtle rescued near Crab Island with a flipper entanglement Ember – 105 lb loggerhead hooked at Okaloosa Island Pier, now healthy and ready to go Benson – loggerhead rescued at Fort Pickens with a metal leader hook, now thriving Matcha – tiny but strong 5.5 lb green turtle rescued at Navarre Beach Pier, cleared for release Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Release begins at 11:00 AM Please arrive early to allow time for parking and taking the shuttle to the beach Let’s send these turtles off in style! #SeaTurtleRelease #CARECenter #Gulfarium [ATTACH=full]109105[/ATTACH]
