Just curious, the website says you had 2100 last year and expect 2700 this year, but you said you only have 700 slots? :idontno:

We have 700 slots for the 5K and 2000 for the Half Marathon. We have to limit the number of 5K runners to 700 due to safety reasons. When you have 700 people running a 5K, that is a there and back course, you're limited by the number of people that can run both ways by the width of 30A.

My new excuse for not running - it's an altruistic move to promote public safety!
