We were there today with our puppy and it was beautiful and just fine. The construction doesn't seem to be effecting it at all so far! So come and enjoy!  :D

JR:  Thanks.  When will the movies begin and where can I find dates and times?  I noticed that there are a lot of concerts scheduled for Seaside throughout late March and April, but I didn't see any movies on their calendar on the Internet.  I like to leave calendar information for our cottage guests for spring break so I'm trying to find out what's going on around town.  Kurt's SoWal calendar is useful, as are the online calendars for the different communities.

Thanks, JR.  This is very helpful.  Do you know the movies in other areas as well.  For example, does Rosemary Beach show movies in the summer?  I know Baytowne Wharf does.

I have been keeping an eye on calendars and some of them seem late this year posting events.

I have been keeping an eye on calendars and some of them seem late this year posting events.

That's what I've noticed as well, but mostly for Seaside.  I compared the activities from last spring to this spring and last year there were many family events throughout the spring, as well as the concerts (which they have on their calendar).

I noticed there are many spring concerts to be held at the amphitheatre at Seaside.  Does this mean that the amphitheatre will be up and running throughout the construction around the green?  Or will the concerts be moved elsewhere during construction?  (I'll see for myself what it looks like in a week, but I'm curious).
