Here, local and seasonal ingredients drive the inspiration for both the food and beverage program. The fresh and vibrant flavors of The Citizen are showcased in a variety of menu items offering a nod to coastal, Southern fare for everyone to enjoy.
The Citizen is actively seeking a positive and passionate full-time server to join the team. Servers should be attentive to guests' needs and provide a high-quality dining experience for everyone. Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Taking orders, making recommendations, serving food and drinks, providing accurate bills, processing payments and fulfilling needs in an accurate and timely manner
- Being friendly, proactive, and efficient
- Learning about the variety of food, beer, wine, and spirits offered at The Citizen
- Cleaning and clearing tables
- Handling multiple tables and tasks at once
- Maintaining all health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as preparing ingredients and restocking inventory
- Supporting in other tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge and/or willingness to learn about food, beer, wine, and cocktails
- Willingness to work at peak hours which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Can handle high volume of guests
- Act in accordance with The Citizen guidelines
- Good attitude and passion for high-quality service
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing, walking, and carrying heavy trays of food and drinks
Benefits:
- Competitive pay of up to $20/hour; negotiable based on experience
