I know it was such an event. You got your bath early, gathered in front of the TV, mom made a special snack. Funny I did the same thing with my kids, they had no choice, they had to love it and they looked forward to it just like we did.

I know, and it makes me so sad. Mine could care less about Frosty and Rudolph coming on Friday night!!! But we are going to sit down as a family and watch it anyway. And darn it, :funn: (closest smiley to slamming my fist down on the table) they are gonna love it.

I remember eating the ice cream that you buy at the grocery store shaped like snowmen. santas or christmas trees. I bought some a couple of years ago for my kids and I think they it was last years stock.

It is such a classic. Did it used to come on after Charlie Brown's Christmas every year? I can still remember that groovy intro CBS had before the Christmas shows, with the word "special" that came spinning around to the drumbeat, 'da-da-daah-da'...hooo boy, that was living high I tell you.
