I do like Journey and most of Chicago's
later music. I was a Journey "groupie" in high school.
That being said - songs that I can't get away from fast enough include:
"Daniel" by Elton John. I adore Elton John's older music; my very first 45 was "Crocodile Rock." I was sooooo happy when "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player" was remastered to a CD, because over my life, I've worn out five 8-tracks/cassettes fast-forwarding over "Daniel." Can't stand it.
"Loving You" by Minnie Riperton...I'd forgotten it until it was mentioned above and now I have the high screeching "oooooooo" part stuck in my head.
"Horse With No Name" and then that one about "Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is?"
"Wonderful Christmastime" and worse yet, "Feliz Navidad."
Any song that repeatedly throws the F bomb at me (in other words, the stuff Squirt listens to). There is one he likes that's kind of cute, "We Did It All for Don." It only has one F in it, but I haven't yet figured out who Don is.
Funny enough - many songs that I did not like when they were popular are OK with me now. Some I even like.
