This beautiful cat was lounging on the dock in the later afternoon sun yesterday. It is rare to see them at all, so to see him yawning and stretching without a care out in the open was very surprising, and quite a treat. Most people don't even know we have bobcats in the area because they are so shy.

Those are great photos! We sometimes catch them on our trail cameras out in Freeport, but they are not frequent visitors.WGI_0282~2.JPG

Usually you just hear them screaming at night.
