I just bought a purple canoe. But I think it is 1/2 Will's birthday gift and 1/2 my-husband-is-a-good-guy gift.

I just have to tell everyone... there are THREE houses in my neighborhood that are totally decorated for Christmas with outside lights and interior Christmas trees! The works! I almost lost control of my car.I just finished putting my halloween decorations away tonight.

Are you having a heat wave? I thought about having Mr OL put them up outside but didn't want to start the yearly argument so soon. For some odd reason he prefers to put them up on the most windy sub zero day.:roll:

Yes, it has been warm and I know lots of "older" people decorate outside before the feeze hits but these 3 houses were totally lit and had their trees up and lit!

Its supposed to be warm here again in NY tomorrow, so I am going to go outside and string the lights on the pine trees tomorrow, but not light them yet.
