John, I will note that, while I do not recall noticing it as much on the last album, but this one of Kathleen sounds a bit too streamed, kind of metallic. Maybe it is simply the recording -- I don't know. I know live shows typically sound a little dirty.

thanks for the input joe. a couple of reasons behind the different sound; sarah m was a soundboard recording, not too much audience in there. k edwards an audience recording, outdoors, at telluride during the day. it's a box canyon and the winds are pretty prevalent during the day, so you may hear some 'sway'. also, i had backed down the stream a bit die to some stalling, i just raised it one step since reading your post.

joe, i will need to go to work so radio jr is going to go silent after this set. but more music than you can shake a stick at here

tapers.org has at least three channels now(9999, 9998, 9997) we'll be testing more from different area of the country through our servers. i wanted to do this more for streaming of live shows, but who knows, maybe paul will write a script to scroll through all the shows on our servers.

the great part about shoutcast is it's like XM, there is so much there as you'll see. just type your genre in the field at the right.
