We're deciding what kind of sign to put on the car when she is driving. For example, the magnetic ones or the "top hat" kind.
Any input from ya'll is welcome.

Wish us luck. Today is the day I take my 16 yr. old son to get his driver's license immediately after school. This was one excited kid this morning!
Wow, seems like yesterday that I took him to get his first haircut!

There is one office close to us who seemed to always failed the teenagers on their first try. If you drove 30 miles up the road they were better with teenagers their first time.

She wants the sign(s) on there. Hoping to get a little more tolerance from drivers if they realize she's new at this.
Jeez, are those signs really neccesary? It isn't like fellow motorists provide any additional courtesy to those drivers ed cars...I think they provide a mobile advertisment for the driving school as much as anything else. When I lived in Athens, which had a substantial number of Asian students, I often saw hand-made signs in cars which stated, New Driver, and I can tell you that I gave them plenty of room and took caution when passing them. I think they can provide a little more cushion, which could be helpful. Just my $.02
He's gone now to the girlfriend's house... on his own!! He got the license and it all went well. The instructor cracked a slight smile at me and said he did very well. But you know how those DMV workers are. None of them are pleasant or polite - most are downright surly. I was surprised to "feel the love." But his huge, ear to ear grin on his license photo says it all!
I told him I am taking a picture of him tomorrow for the scrapbook and I'll post it on here.
It's all good. :clap_1:
:clap_1: :clap_1: Congrats!!!! Now the funn begins
Oh goodness, buckle up and hold on tight! Congratulations, now he can go to the store for you.:clap_1::clap_1:
just a warning jr - my mom said her hair went gray when me and my sis got our licenses......Not too worried. I remember how I was at his age. So far, I have him beat in everything by far!!I NEVER want him to know that!
