    Walton County Coastal Branch Library 2014 Summer Reading Program kicks off JUN 3! Children of all ages are invited to join in Tuesday mornings in June at 10am. “FIZZ BOOM READ” provides learning opportunities for kids with hands on science experiments, and fun and games all summer long!

    Summer Reading Program Lineup

    JUN 3 | Smokey the Bear and the Florida Forest Service along with local Boy Scout troop 562 discuss camping and wildfire safety.

    JUN 10 | McGruff the Crime Dog and local sheriffs taking a bite out of crime and provide tips on bicycle safety.

    JUN 17 | Join local 4-H club and blend together some tasty, healthy smoothies for those hot summer days and plant a “Garden in a Bucket”.

    JUN 24 | Learn about kids summer swimming safety with S.W.F.D. beaches Junior Life Guard Programs.

    Read to dogs; Duffy and Buster Brown from 11am-12pm.

    Reading logs are available at the front desk and kids can win a book and prizes by participating. The Coastal Branch Library is located at 437 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Free for the public with light refreshments served.
