I recall a spring break in PCB, maybe when I was in the 10th grade, where a friend of mine (friend girl, not girlfriend) decided that she could tan better using baby oil rather than tanning oil with a SPF number. That was back when only pansies wore the spf stuff and it would be like spf 60. She sat at there all day with some of her friends. Later that night, everyone was saying that she was in pain from her sunburn. I had never seen anything like that before that incident nor since that incident. The Sun and the Baby Oil had cooked her belly area, just above her bikini bottom line, crisp. Yes, extra crispy, like Fried Chicken, but without any flour. It was gross. I will always remember that.

Did that when I was 14. The best way was to use baby oil and spray yourself with water...like basting a turkey. Needless to say I did not wear anything but a long shirt for about a week. Never again!!
