I think cresteds could look pretty rough as they age! The vet says Sunshine is only about 4 -5 years old. Sam was pretty old and boy did he get a nice ride. 3 years as the Ugliest dog in the world and a total worldwide celebrity with that face. 😱 His mom really loved him and took his passing pretty hard. I've only had Sunshine since November and am so attached already. I've never had a sweeter dog.

Roxy was Kimmi and family's baby that passed away recently.:( Not sure about part 2 of that question. :idontno:

I'm sooo sorry! They give us so much joy and so sad that they're with us such a short time. My condolences to kimmi and family.

:wub:Thanks. It was horrible. I saw her last over Christmas and kinda thought that would be the last time I'd see her. That was a bad bad day. But we're getting better finally.

Time heals all wounds. My last kitty got kidney failure and I just could not make that decision if there was any hope so we took him home and kept him on IV's trying to kickstart his kidneys but lost him about a week later. Heather and I were with him every minute but still don't know if we made the right decision to try to keep him alive. I don't wish that decision on anyone. All we can do is be thankful for the time we had with them I guess.

I didn't know he was mean. I know that she absolutely adored him. Amazing what a little love can do. :wub:
