SWFD To Pay Tribute to 343 Firefighters That Died on September 11th, 2001

To commemorate the 19th Anniversary of the attacks of September 11th, members of the South Walton Fire District will pay tribute to the 343 firefighters that sacrificed their lives that day by running/walking 3.43 miles on 30A.

This will be the 3rd year SWFD has scheduled this run/walk.

SWFD personnel will meet on 9-11-20 at the Local Catch parking lot located at 3711 W County Hwy 30A before 8:46 am central time (which is when the first tower was struck).

From there they will run/walk (some in gear) 1.7 miles east on 30A to the South County Highway 83/30A intersection.

Once there they will turn around and head back to Local Catch restaurant completing the 3.43 miles.

If you see these men and women, please let the know you have not forgotten September 11, 2001.
