Thank you to everyone for wishing me to get well. I just returned home from the Pharmacy to find a can of Chig'm Soup, as I think Katie Blue calls it, and a sweet card from the Funns wishing me to get well so that I could party with them. Thanks! I don't know about the partying while on the meds, but maybe I will at least get to see some of the Funns and the Funn Recruits. Dread does play the Red Bar tomorrow :scratch:.

Awww Smiley J. I'll so glad you like your present. We were so worried about you. We will definitely be at the Red Bar tomorrow and you may need to be nursing us back to health.

Aw, feel better, SJ. I just put on a big pot of homemade chicken tortilla soup on the stove, wish I could send some down by pneumatic tube! This bug sure seems to be everywhere right now. After tonight, I won't be surprised at all if I end up coming down with it (again). Gotta run, time to stir the soup.

What great friends you have, SJ...I didn't know you were so ill. What's the nature of your woe...cold or flu? I am hoping you feel better now, so you can have some funn! Plus (selfishly)....I miss your pictures.

Yes, I am grateful to have good friends. It is thought that my illness has something to do with the germ, Bordatella pertussis. I am on anitbiotics, and hope that the germ is soon destroyed.

OMG...that's exactly what I thought when I read the diagnosis!!! SJ...you must have been hanging out with some real "dogs"!!! What are the symptoms? Woof woof...that means get well in kennel speak!!

I am waiting to come down with the Norwalk Virus any minute now. I really needed a hand sanitizer type gadget hanging around my neck!!!

a girl i work with takes the garlic pills - i don't know how many a day she takes but my god she reeks. it is absolutely oozing from her pores - that is why i can't stand to eat it anymore. at least we are safe if a band of rogue vampires attacks the pharmacy !
