Alright..confession time. I've been divorced for many years now and have actually been very happy and felt no need to search for the perfect man as I'd heard he didn't exist anyway

My kids kept me busy and life is full.

I have dated off an on, nothing too serious. A few years ago I started a friendship with a great guy. That friendship has very recently become serious and I am offically engaged and sporting a lovely ring to boot. :blush:

No wedding is emminate except the one I'm planning for my daughter, so everyone remain calm. If you must get excited please concentrate on the worry of the hot browns staying hot and the bar tab exceeding my funn budget at Bethies wedding. We are so excited about her big day that we are not focusing on much else for a few weeks.

Jdarg and Mermaid were in on the secret as of Friday and threatened to go public on the board as good Sowallers should. Therefore I'm coming out with it before they do so you hear it from the source. There is offically one less bachelor in Louisville, he's a handsome thing with lots of dark hair, beautiful blue eyes and a huge heart. Not only that he's crazy about me, (go figure :idontno:

) so what more can a girl want?

Oh one wedding at a time please. I promised Mermy and Jdarg a simple beach wedding. Not at all sure when though.

The ring is lovely, 6 prong tiffany setting, 1.25 to 1.50 carats round in white gold. He did good. It's not too big but it big enough. I feel like Goldilocks "it's just right"

We've had such a sad year with losing loved ones and kids moving away, it's nice to have this happen.

Poor little Mermy was about floored when I showed off the ring. It was like the old school days when your roomates fall on you with excitement because your boyfriend asked you to go steady. There was lots of hugging and excited girly sounds. I believe we scared Merman. By they way thank you Mermaid again for your kindness. You are funn and sweet, a great combination. Merman is very lucky to have you.

It was very girly and lots of funn. I didn't notice the dogs howling though so I don't think we were too loud. I did get a kick out of your response. I was laughing too much and feelin the love gullfriend. I had such a good time with you all I could have hung out all night if it hadn't been for the Stones.
I can't wait to see you again. Sowal over the holidays may very well work for us.

Kimmi I don't have a picture of the ring, it's pretty basic..round...shiny. Will you be in Sowal for New Years again? My ring may be making an appearance. I feel a little weird taking a picture of my ring. But I will have try
