The ocean air you first smell when you get to the beach.

Also, the smell of Coppertone - - reminds me of my childhood at the beach with my mother.
I love the smell of coppertone!!! My mom used to put it on us, too!!!
A Christmas Tree.

What is a pressed shirt? I think in another life, I may have had one or two, but it is all forgotten.

That's hard, how do you describe a smell? There are some scents that take you back to a past moment in your life. When I smell Noxema it takes me back to when I was a little girl standing in the bathroom with my mother. She would always wash her face with Noxema. Another, would be men's Aramis cologne - my first love wore Aramis. To this day if I am in a crowd and I walk by a man that has on Aramis, it puts a smile on my face. :D

The smell of the ocean makes me happy, peaceful and exhilirated

The smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, warm, inviting, promising, sweet

Cooking bacon: early morning, camping, comforting, enticing

Limes: tangy, tropical, party

snuffed out candles: ready for bed, Christmas time, end of a great party

Coffee beans and brewing coffee: always smells better than is tasts, early mornings (after a late night) at the Waffle House at 3:00am, mannah after a late night

Tea Olives: fragarent, beautiful, spring and fall

Guess this is what you were after SJ?:idontno:

Maybe this should go under "Random Thoughts," but I do a little mental double-take when I see this on the list of posts.

"The best smell is..." and under it, "Skunkape."

I've never smelled an ape, but skunks fer sher don't make my "best smell" list...

Carry on...

Close, but not really. Think about trying to convey the smells to a person who has never lived outside of a little box, and isn't able to smell.

If you want to smell a monkey, just go into the politics forum and scratch and sniff your screen.
