I don't understand why people leave nice shoes at the walkover. I always wear my $2.99 flip flops and i'll leave those, but if i found myself at the beach and i was wearing my leather sandals, I think i could carry them. :idontno:

it was a dispicable act by a bat-turd moron. I won't say that...

The joys of tourism.

I can barely enjoy the water because I always have my back turned to the horizon as I'm spying the shore worried some...er...bat-turd moron...might try and make off with my bag of cheetos and mostly empty wallet to augment their drunkfest.

Nothing makes one feel more at one with their fellow locals than sharing in the laments and grumbles of this sort of thing.

Who said it was a tourist? :idontno: I get highly offended because I am a tourist...not a bat-turd moron, that spends my hard earned dollar there every June and have for the last 14 years. Although, I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that we are not appreciated by some "locals". Keep in mind that it is us "Tourons", "Moron's" and other adjectives used to describe us, that help keep the economy there afloat.

Imy and I took the canoe to the beach yesterday by that access and there was a very unsavory, homeless looking guy hanging around there when we first arrived. He was looking around in a manner that made me check to see if I still had my wallet. 😱

Never understood leaving nice shoes at a well used beach access - especially when you have all that other stuff you are hauling to the beach. Just asking for trouble IMO.

Tell me about it... I've had three pair of Gucci loafers stolen in just the last week...$900 a pair! Man, now I gots to get a bodyguard just to watch my shoes! :cool:
