Hey Laner- I'm here.  I was on my feet in 5 inch heels (new shoes- never been worn) from 7 am-6pm yesterday for our fashion preview.  My face hurts from smiling and being fake.  I did meet a lot of good people though.  We were there until 10 pm shooting the lookbook.  I'm soo tired.  I have to be at the office at 6am tomorrow for a shoot with Vogue- which we can't miss and can't leave early because I have E! Fashion Police coming at 4.  I'm going to be so tired this weekend and I have so much going on.

Anywho...What's shakin with you Laner?

I can't feel either of my big toes.  It's bad.  They hurt really really bad today.  I am working a lot...It's cool though.  It's going to be crazy with a lot of follow up from yesterday- and we're about to kick into major parade stuff!

Who is she buying for?  Do you know?

Our themes for this spring are Sea in the City-very nautical.  Think white, blue and red.  Alot of espadrilles and woven bags.  Chunky jewelry- colored.  Chunky gold jewelry.

Safari and all things Military.  Studded bags and shoes.  Chunky brown shoes.  Brown, neutral and army green.  I think a lot of cargo pants/shorts are going to be coming back.  

White is going to be big this season.  Black and white is everywhere.

All bags are going to be very neutral.  I think metallics will still be around, but that was a little last season.  I still have a gold bag and love it though.  

Dresses, dressses, dresses.  The girly dresses are coming back.  Which I am thrilled about!

Men- think Havana Club.  Fedoras, skulls and cross bones and madras print.  And work it.

And BTW- started switching my closets over to winter- had to sadly put the flips away.  So I am in a really grumpy mood.  I hate wool.  I hate turlenecks.  And socks.  Maybe I am wired for a warm locale.  Did find some stuff I forgot I had, but sadly no money in the pockets of the winter coats.

They were hot shoes.  I saw them and they spoke to me.  They wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to stand in them for 12 hours!  Not to mention, we gotta look good for the editors!

I think jeans are still really big...jeans not so low-slung.  Round toe shoes and heels are back in...wedge boots are really big as well.  Fishnets replacing black and even nude hoes is big as well.  It's become something that is "ok" in the office these days.

I think jeans are still really big...jeans not so low-slung. Round toe shoes and heels are back in...wedge boots are really big as well. Fishnets replacing black and even nude hoes is big as well. It&#039;s become something that is &quot;ok&quot; in the office these days.

You are right about the trying hard part.  I have size 10 feet, and not only is finding wearable heels a challenge, finding heels that don't draw attention to the big feet is impossible.  Then I have to walk.  I think if your feet are used to heels, you can survive.  I only wear them about 3 times a year anymore, so it's always painful!

I was hobbling by the end of the night.  We all were.  At least we were on carpet.  It was hell.  I did by a pair of 2 inch heels that have changed my life.  They are low, but don't look low and don't hurt!  I want jeans, tennis shoes and a t-shirt today.   Sadly I can't.

Me either!  I am 5' 10" so that would put me way up there....plus the fact I have a small foot and not good balance....I think I would injure myself.....
