I am baaaack!!!!!! We were very busy today working on a pop up camper. OK, where to start? I was born and raised in Cleveland. I have lived here my entire life.
My favorite beach is Seacrest. We have stayed from Sunrise Beach on the west end to BMB to Seacrest to Carrilon. I like Seacrest the best because it seems a little more remote. Walking from there to the old pier every morning just seems like you are more removed from the crowds.
And yes to the same young lady. We grew up together and went to school together since 6th grade. Her brother is my best friend. I have 4 children, a daughter and 3 boys ranging from 33 to 28 and have 14 grandkids and 1 on the way.
I am a fitness nut and try to stay in shape. I like basketball, scuba diving, snorkling and biking. I used to have a motorcycle but had to sell it to keep the youngest in college, but I will get another one someday.
I have been in the freight business since 1976 in some form or another from a driver to dockworker to dispatch to manager and now an account executive (self employed) contracted to a freight company. I specialize in over dimensional freight moves throughout the country.
I have always had a love for the water. My parents have had boats since I was 3 years old and I have grown up on the water. I started scuba diving in 1974 and have been to some really great destinations. The best was Hawaii. I got sidetracked once we started having children, there was just never the time with all the sports and activities they were involved in. I always tried to at least put the tanks on once a year so I could remember how it felt. I continued to snorkle though when we went on vacations.
Once the kids were a little older we started going to the ocean. First it was Naggs Head in Kill Devil Hills, then to North Myrtle beach in Cherry Grove and then to Florida. I found SoWal purely by accident. We were scheduled to go on our first vavation in Florida to Captiva Island but part of our group had to cancel so I looked for somewhere closer and stumbled on this site. I did some reasearch and fell in love. I was a lurker for a couple of years and then just jumped in and the rest is history.
