Hello again! It has been a long year. In the spirit of this sacred day, I thought about making up a lot of hogwash about why I've been gone, but I'm too lazy. Please feel free to make up your own stories.

So--How's ya mama an' 'em?

 As my daddy says, I'm in pretty good shape for the shape I'm in. It has been a really hard year in a lot of ways, but I'm blessed--the things that are the most worthwhile are often hard.

Unfortunately, I have had little time to even think about paradise, much less visit, so it has just been easier to stay virtually away for a while. Seasons...

I'm still teaching chorus and drama at the military academy, and I'm still having a ball. We sent the boys home for spring break this afternoon, so I'm going to spend the next 10 days in a coma...

Ummmm... I :wub::wub: this here new smiley--

Hey lady! Have you been gone? 😱

I guess I just see you so often on "that other site" that I take for granted that I'm not seeing your posts here on SoWal...

No worries, though--it doesn't matter WHERE I see your posts, they always make me smile...
