You're right, I don't think I would like a birthday turducken.  We are having the drunken chicken though.  I'll try to find a creative place for the candles!

No, I don't know Ms. Kitty personally, but I feel like I know her some by her wonderful posts.  They keep me entertained daily, and I love, love the kitty avatar. (very jealous that Suncat did not get this one.)

I have to do the Thanksgiving thing here on Thurs. but I am seriously considering a trip to Sowal on Friday-Tues. with a friend and my daughter (19).  My sister and BIL are already there.  Keeping my fingers crossed!
